Professor Al Lucas was in New York last week presenting on natural resource development.

Al was a lead presenter on “Will Communities Call the Tune? Sharing Costs and Benefits of Power and Resource Activities” at the Biennial Conference of the International Bar Association’s Section on Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Infrastructure Law (SEERIL) in New York on April 18. He also made a presentation on “Participatory Rights and Strategic Litigation: Benefits Forcing and Endowment Protection in Canadian Natural Resource Development” at a Seminar on Benefit Sharing in Natural Resource Development, at Columbia Law School on April 21.
