V.125 Release Notes

Last night we released V.125 of the UCalgary Web System. Please take a moment to review the release notes to see the updates included in the latest release.

What’s Fixed? 

Bugs and issues resolved in the latest release.  

  • Various issues impacting the content migration function 
  • Mismatched profiles and accounts causing some users to see a different user's profile page when logging in to profiles.ucalgary.ca/user 

  

What’s New? 

New features, block enhancements, and system updates from the latest release.   

  •  Realignment of image upload size limits to be 10MB for all blocks that support image uploads
  • Addition of new “Authored on” filter to content list on news.ucalgary.ca

In Progress 

Work that is currently in progress and will be included in an upcoming release.   

Fixes  

  • News thumbnail images missing from metadata 
  • “Edit this block” buttons missing on mobile and tablet screen sizes 
  • Profile user taxonomy not being created and preventing impacted profiles from appearing in profile listings 

  • News feed block not updating automatically with newly published articles 

  • Page filter tags permission issue preventing users from tagging pages through basic page settings 

 

Enhancements  

  • Profiles <> People data integration  
  • Profiles help text update to align with people data integration. 
  • Freezing top row in authoring for screens with large tables (Gin) 
  • Reporting module to identify orphaned blocks to aid content cleanup efforts  
  • Focus state for buttons in webforms

  • Drupal 10 upgrade items  
  • Privacy boilerplate update for Webforms and Marketo block  
  • SimpleSaml Php library update
