V.121 Release Notes

Last night we released V.121 of the UCalgary Web System. Check out the release notes for details about what was included in the latest release!

What’s Fixed?

Bugs and issues resolved in the latest release.

  • Site search 404 due to a configuration issue. 
  • Profile list block unit/department display.
  • Profiles CV link not working (profiles.ucalgary.ca).
  • Offset sidekick CTA display when placed next to rounded blocks.
  • Sidekick CTA background image distortion.
  • Anonymous user defaulting to a user’s name (live-ucalgary).
  • Image caption alignment issue (news.ucalgary.ca).
  • Participate in Research database field misalignment (research.ucalgary.ca).
  • LiveWhale RSVP/registrant comment box won’t save changes.
  • Dates for reoccurring events on event landing pages are not showing the correct date for upcoming occurrences.
  • Dropdown display issues on Page filter block.

 

What’s New?

New features, block enhancements, and system updates from the latest release.  

  • Permissions for the content editor role updated to include the ability to upload files. 
  • Added filter reset button to Page Filter Block for mobile and tablet screen sizes. 
  • Added exclude tags functionality to event feed block.
  • Sidekick CTA styling tweaks to offset display.

In Progress

Work that is currently in progress and will be included in an upcoming release.

  • LiveWhale updates to add a “Times vary” option to event creation forms (LiveWhale). 
  • Reporting for orphaned blocks 
  • Fixes to user taxonomy format (profiles.ucalgary.ca).
  • Add focus state for CTA styles.  
  • LiveWhale date display for ongoing events for landing pages. 
  • Add “Times vary” option to event creation form.
