UCalgary recognizes National Day of Mourning, April 28
Last year, Alberta lost 150 people to workplace injury or illness.
Every year workers who have been killed, injured or suffered illness from work-related incidents are remembered on April 28, the National Day of Mourning.
The campus flag will be lowered today from sunrise to sunset in remembrance of those who have suffered and died in the workplace.
