Relativism, Constructivism, and Progress in Goodman and Kuhn

Congratulations to Veronika Lavergne, who successfully defended her MA thesis entitled “Relativism, Constructivism, and Progress in Goodman and Kuhn” on September 7, completed under the supervision of Ken Waters and Mark Migotti. Veronika's thesis defends the relativism in Goodman’s constructivism and Kuhn’s account of scientific development. She argues that their works do not endorse radical relativism and can account for genuine conceptual and scientific progress.

Veronika's plans for the future are to take a year off and work in a brewery while she prepares to apply to PhD programs in philosophy.
