Professor a lead author on Endangered Species Law in BC

The report offers the government of British Columbia evidence-based recommendations for key features of legislation to identify and recover species at risk.

"Protecting Biodiversity in British Columbia: Recommendations for an endangered species law in B.C. by a species at risk expert panel" recommends that the provincial government 1) Commit to principles of recovery, precaution, and feasibility; 2) Take an evidence-based approach to recovery; 3) Implement effective protections and stewardship; and 5) Ensure accountability to meeting Act objectives.
