Professor Nigel Bankes and third-year student Dana Poscente have co-authored an article in issue 57:4.
"The Supervisory Jurisdiction of the Alberta Utilities Commission Over Municipally Owned Utilities" examines the supervisory jurisdiction of the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC or Commission) over the delivery of public utility services by municipally owned utilities in Alberta. The article deals with the question of who regulates these public utility services when a municipal government elects to deliver these services itself or through a subsidiary.
