In Memoriam: Li-Cong Chan

Li-Cong Chan passed away on March 16, 2020. Chan was a valued member of the UCalgary campus community and worked in the caretaking unit since October 2001. She always loved talking to students and interacting with them while on the job, offering an ear when they were stressed or worried.

She leaves behind her husband Wing Tai Chan, daughters Wesley Chan and Winnie Chan, and her son Wing Chuen Chan. Chan worked extremely hard for her family and was a fiercely loyal and loving mother. 

A memorial service will be held for Chan at McInnis & Holloway's Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre St. North, Calgary on Thursday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to noon.
