Plan to attend International Development Week events.

University of Calgary International

University of Calgary International is celebrating International Development Week with a series of events to raise awareness about international development issues and encourage students to develop innovative solutions to global challenges.

The university has been engaged in international development work and research for more than 30 years. This year marks the 30th anniversary of International Development Week and the Government of Canada has chosen the theme Go for the Goals. Referring to the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, this theme illustrates the idea of moving forward in a collaborative and positive way toward a better world.

Here are three activities you do not want to miss:

Demystifying partnerships with Global Affairs Canada

This event will provide information and insight into questions that are frequently asked by Global Affairs Canada’s partners, or potential partners, including the main elements of Global Affairs Canada’s international assistance and applying for funding.

Feb. 4, 9 a.m. to noon. MacKimmie Tower Room 701 Register here.

World’s Challenge Challenge — UCalgary semi-finals
