History Graduate Alumni Spotlight: Christine Leppard

Dr. Christine Leppard received a PhD from the University of Calgary in 2014 and has worked as the Historical Specialist for the Calgary Stampede since that time. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in this department and is on the Board of Directors of Heritage Calgary. In her role at the Stampede, Dr. Leppard spearheads the Stampede’s public history program and manages the Stampede Collection & Archives. She is on the project team for SAM Centre, an immersive Stampede museum and attraction that is projected to open in 2023.
