Haskayne Peer Network

Drop by the Nuwest Commons to participate in the first networking event of the season

Meeting new people can be intimidating but every Wednesday at noon either a Haskayne Peer Network or a Slice of Knowledge event is held in NuWest Commons for all students to experience! Every event highlights a different topic, e.g. how to network effectively, ways to fund growth experience, resume and cover letter help, stress reliever tips and the Haskayne Guided Path System (H.GPS)™.

“HSB Peer Networking events are a great opportunity to introduce yourself to new classmates and socialize at the heart of Scurfield Hall in the NuWest Commons. Each event brings a new and exciting theme that lightly informs students of different opportunities. No registration required these events are the easiest and most time friendly way to meet new people and hear about what the undergraduate program has to offer,” says Ryan Wallace, a fourth year marketing student at the Haskayne School of Business, former president of the Haskayne Students Association (HSA).

Networking provides many opportunities to connect as these events every Wednesday are open to all students, regardless of year and concentration, “The number one thing to get out of networking is the experience of talking to people and generating a conversation and learning from the experiences they share with me,” says Zeid Ayoub, former president of the Commerce Undergraduate Society (CUS).

Hope to see everyone there September 21st at noon in NuWest Commons for the first casual networking session of Fall 2016!
