Find your fit with Active Living
Although we may still need to adjust our fitness regimes, Active Living has found ways to help us stay healthy and active during these challenging times.
Following the Alberta Health Services provincial decision to lift public health measures, this July, Active Living has added outdoor in-person classes to their group fitness offerings and resumed in-person personal training programs. While indoor fitness classes have paused, registration for virtual fitness classes will remain open throughout the summer.
Led by the Faculty of Kinesiology and the Community, Active Living offers programs, services and facilities* that promote healthy, active lifestyles to children, youth and adults in Calgary and the greater community. The centre provides high-quality programming and educational opportunities that help inform a sustainable healthy life; offering a wide range of fitness classes to help you stay in shape while having fun. These classes cater to people of all skills and fitness levels, with something for everyone. You don't have to be a member or a student to participate in Active Living's programs.
