Dr. Remo Panaccione appointed as Associate Director of Admissions for MD Program

Dr. Sylvain Coderre, Associate Dean, Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) Program is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Remo Panaccione as the Associate Director of Admissions for the MD Program.

Dr. Panaccione moved into this role effective October 1, 2018 and will be transitioning into the Director of Admissions role over the next 9 months to replace Dr. Ian Walker when he steps down from his position.

Dr. Panaccione is a Gastroenterologist and Professor with the University of Calgary and has been involved in education at the Undergraduate, Graduate and Postgraduate levels, as well as with Continuing Medical Education and Community Education. Dr. Panaccione is also involved in many areas of clinical and educational research and has been recognized for his work nationally and internationally in these areas.
