Delehanty Contributes to Transdisciplinary Project on AI in Healthcare

Megan Delehanty is part of a transdisciplinary project on the development of equitable AI in healthcare. The project, "Artificial Intelligence for Healthcare: A Transdisciplinary Approach Towards Health Equity", is funded through the national New Frontiers in Research Fund. It is led by Dr. Mariana Bento (Biomedical Engineering) and includes researchers from across the University of Calgary as well as international collaborators in Brazil and Switzerland. The project addresses significant philosophical questions about equity, bias, fairness, and harm in addition to epistemological questions about evidence and simulated data.
