CIHR Project Grant review: Have your say

Share your feedback on proposed changes to the CIHR Project Grant program and the supports that matter most to O’Brien Institute members

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is consulting on potential changes to the Project Grant program, including how often competitions run, how applications are reviewed and how grants are sized.

These changes could have important implications for O’Brien Institute members. OIPH members have been among UCalgary’s most successful CIHR applicants, particularly in health services and policy and population and public health research. At the same time, application pressure is growing in these areas.

We want to hear from members about how the proposed changes could affect your research and how the O’Brien Institute can best support you, both as CIHR considers changes to the program and under the existing structure.

Complete our short member survey to tell us which proposed changes matter most to you and what supports from the O’Brien Institute would be most useful. The survey takes about six minutes and responses are anonymous.
