Congratulations to the Faculty of Arts 2025 Killam Awards recipients.

The 2025 Killam Awards celebrate the exceptional achievements of its scholars and researchers.

Spanning the university’s many distinguished faculties and schools, 10 Faculty of Arts laureates were recognized this year, each shaping knowledge, mentoring students and pushing the boundaries of their fields.

The awards honour the vision of Izaak Walton and Dorothy Killam, whose trusts have supported advanced study and encouraged excellence in research and scholarship for the last 60 years. As one of only five designated Killam universities in Canada, UCalgary continues to uphold that vision through its scholars and researchers.
