Ally Jokl presents at the International Social Ontology Society’s annual conference
In July, MA student Ally Jokl presented a paper at the International Social Ontology Society’s annual conference at Duke University in Durham, NC. Her paper “Defining the relationship between ‘money’ and ‘currency’: A mathematical account of money” argues that we should think about mathematical objects rather than physical objects when theorizing about money. The argument relies on identifying a distinction between ‘money’, ‘currency’, and ‘coinage’.
