New Interim Associate Dean, Curriculum Development & Program Evaluation announced

Dr. Andrew Estefan is named Interim Associate Dean, Curriculum Development & Program Evaluation

Dr. Andrew Estefan has agreed to serve as the Interim Associate Dean, Curriculum Development & Program Evaluation for a six month term effective immediately. This will allow the Faculty of Nursing to move forward with initiatives while the search firm conducts an International search.

Dr. Andrew Estefan, Associate Professor, has been with the Faculty of Nursing, University of Calgary since 2008.  Before coming to Calgary, Andrew had experience teaching in nursing, health and social care programs in Australia and the United Kingdom.  At the University of Calgary he has served in the role of Associate Dean, Teaching and Learning (2014 - 2016) and is recognized as an early adopter of online and blended learning approaches. Andrew's research program focuses upon narrative inquiry and he has published work relating to narrative practice and pedagogy in postsecondary undergraduate and graduate learning.  His teaching and scholarship have been recognized with international awards from the American Educational Research Association.
