Campus Alberta Neuroscience Entrepreneurship Seed Grant Program now open!

This unique program supports neuroscience-related innovation and entrepreneurship efforts in Alberta through direct funding and commercialization support.

Are you an entrepreneur in the neuroscience and mental health field in search of funding?

Campus Alberta Neuroscience is pleased to launch its Entrepreneurship Seed Grant Program for 2020. This unique program supports neuroscience related innovation and entrepreneurship efforts in Alberta through direct funding and commercialization support.

Funding ranges between $5,000 – $30,000 CAD. All 2020 Entrepreneurship Seed Grant Program applicants will automatically be eligible for consideration of additional programs, including a consultation with Campus Alberta Neuroscience, matching funding opportunities, educational opportunities, and other commercialization and entrepreneurial supports through CAN and its partner organizations.

The program is designed to create a positive impact in the neuroscience community in Alberta. Funding can be used to support a range of projects including:

  • Access to commercialization support
  • Support for reviewing commercialization feasibility
  • Developing, launching or testing a new idea or approach
  • Running a demonstration project
  • Support for scaling up of production/commercialization

Deadline to apply is 12:00pm MST on September 11th, 2020.
